Quarantine and isolation during Covid-times has impacted every single one of us. In this painting I put the health workers in the center. Dressed up as astronauts trying to save lives on the frontline they too where in a lonely place. Doing their job doesn't make it less extraordinary, which is reason enough to give them a place in the ‘Mars series’. 

The technique of acryl pouring, layers of resin and pigments results in a mirror like image that invites you to look at yourself through my art.
