About the work

No figure like Persephone represents life and death better. Associated with winter when she spends her time with her husband Hades as the queen of the underworld, her return to the surface gave her the status of Goddess of spring. Persephone I & II will be exhibited in One Space Gallery, TriBeCa, Manhattan in New York this summer.
