‘Amy’ is a painting from the ‘Mars series’ in which the subjects are originally chosen because of their exceptional qualities or characteristics. It makes them stand out of the crowd in the right context. Placed in the abstract universe of the painting they regain their common human condition. Just unique like every one of us. 

‘Amy’ was a young woman from New York who'm I've met a couple of years ago in Valencia, Spain. She asked me if I could play ‘back to black’ on my guitar in a crowded bar and when she started singing the magic happened. Her voice seemed to be the reincarnation of Amy Winehouse. I never new her real name, but to me she was Amy. She blew the room away! 

About my technique and unique signature. I use acryl pouring, resin and pure pigments in different transparent layers which gives my paintings an unknown dept. The glossy result works as a mirror for the viewer who looks at himself through my art.
